Welcome to A Bit of Billiards and The Sub Factory

A Bit of Billiards was established in 1982 and is a locally owned business.  It is Longmont’s billiards paradise, accommodating the American Pool Association, as well as the Billiards Congress of America.  The sports bar features disc jockey entertainment, karaoke and poker. The Bit also has great food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Sub Factory

Sub Factory moves into The Bit – April 2009

LONGMONT — As pool balls clack and poker chips clink, customers at A Bit of Billiards Sports Bar and Grill will now be able to order submarine sandwiches off the menu. Starting today, The Sub Factory Inc., at 651 Eighth Ave. for the past 30 years, will begin operating out of “The Bit,” in the Parkway Center at Ken Pratt Boulevard and South Pratt Parkway. The two restaurants are owned by George and Maureen Blackham, who both moved to Longmont separately in 1979 and married in 1988. Both have worked at the two local food joints for more than 20 years. George Blackham runs A Bit of Billiards, which he bought in 2007, while Maureen Blackham runs The Sub Factory.
